Anglo-American University this morning opened the academic conference on “New Conservatisms & New Approaches,” with the keynote speech by Dr. Tim Bale of the University of Sussex (Sussex, UK). Tim Bale is often featured in UK media, and his speech was a timely response to the recent elections in the UK and titled “Conservatism and Christian Democracy: Never the Twain Shall Meet.”
Dr. Bale also Chairs a Session this morning, beginning at 10:00
The conference will continue throughout the day with early afternoon sessions at 13:00-15:00, late afternoon sessions at 15:15-17:55.
There is another keynote speech tomorrow (Saturday morning) by Hilal Onur Ince of the University of Hacettepe (Ankara, Turkey) on the theme, “Conservatism & Anthropology: Arnold Gehlen and the German Labrinth.”
This conference is being held at the Anglo American University (AAU) - at Lázeňská 4 & Lázeňská 2, Maltézské náměstí, Prague 1 (Malá Strana).
