The winners of the Golden Greyhound 2009, race and design champions, are going to be ceremoniously decorated by Czech celebrities in the Hotel Esplanade Prague on the 6th of February 2010.
Heidi Janku, Jadran Setlik, Zuzana Belohorcova, Petr Novotny, Frantisek Ringo Cech and many other models and celebrities from showbusiness will come to congratulate the winning greyhounds, analogously to previous years of the contest.
KRTEK - the Childhood Cancer Foundation will be another kind guest.
For the very first time in the Czech greyhound racing history the winner of the last three years of this contest will receive a financial grant worth 100,000 CZK.
The Hotel Esplanade Prague, renowned for its splendid cuisine, will provide gourmet specialities to all participants of the event.
The Czech Greyhound Racing Federation, a member of the World Greyhound Racing Federation, is the organizer of the Golden Greyhound contest.
Greyhounds are the fastest dogs in the world. They can run as fast as 65 km/h.
They have been bred for their speed and noble beauty all around the world. The origin of this breed dates back to the ancient era. Also the Holy Bible already mentions this breed.
