Volksbank - Foreign payments in EUR now more favourable

BRNO January 9 (PROTEXT) - Volksbank CZ offers newly morefavoured conditions for processing foreign payment transfers inEUR within Volksbank financial group.

With Volksbank-Transfer the sender is charged with fixed feeCZK 240 regardless the volume of the payment. This fee isdefinitive without any additional costs on the receiver's side.Moreover, this payment is processed with value date only plus 1day.

Distinct savings do not concern only the sender but also thereceiver. Volksbank CZ puts the payments incoming from Volksbankconcern - if marked properly as payments within the group - tothe receiver's account for free with no additional fee and valuedate 0.

As an example a payment of 10,000 EUR to the businesspartner's account in Austrian Volksbank can be used:- if the client of Volksbank CZ has a euro-account, they willsubmit the foreign payment order for 10,000 EUR in favour oftheir Austrian partner and for this transaction they will becharged the final fee CZK 240. The amount (10,000 EUR) will be infull put to the Austrian partner's account. If the Volksbank CZclients submit their order till 12 am the amount will betransferred to the account in Austria already the next day.

For comparison:

- if the client of Volksbank CZ submits the foreign paymentorder for the same amount, i.e. 10,000 EUR, e.g. to AustrianBank Austria, they will be charged a fee 1 % min. 300 max. 1,700CZK - i.e. 1,700 CZK and possible other fees accordingly who paysthe fees of the foreign bank - if the sender, receiver or theyshare the costs. Moreover, the amount would be put to thereceiver's account in Bank Austria with value date of minimum 3days.

In case of an urgent transfer (another 500 CZK) the total feewould amount to a minimum of 2,200 CZK with value date for thereceiver plus 2 days.
