Volksbank CZ - an associated member of VISA International

BRNO, Feb 10 (PROTEXT) - Volksbank CZ, a. s., became anassociated member of VISA International. This enables the bank toissue VISA payment cards. Together with this it will be possibleto withdraw cash with VISA cards from all the Volksbank ATMs andtake advantage of cash manual disbursement through Cash AdvanceService. Also the Volksbank clients can install the paymentterminals for cards acceptation in their business premises.
The newly issued payment cards will be "hybrid", i.e. notonly magnetic strip will be placed on them but also a chip basedon EMV technology will be implemented there. The chip technologyensures higher security to the card-holders thanks to the factthat the data are stored directly in the chip and sufficientlyprotected through high level of data encryption.Contact:Vincent CollardVedoucí odd.
