Visteon Pumps Up Presence in Aftermarket With Opening of New Center in Germany

FRANKFURT, Germany (PROTEXT) - Visteon Automotive Systems isintensifying its efforts to become a leading aftermarket brand inEurope with the opening of a new aftermarket product center inMorfelden-Walldorf near Frankfurt, Germany. The center will handle all of Visteon's European aftermarketactivities, including contracts, orders and technical assistanceon product systems such as multimedia, heating and cooling, airconditioning, and steering. Visteon has invested over $2 millionto ensure that the facility uses state-of-the-art hardware andsoftware technology to handle customer inquiries and meet theirneeds quickly and efficiently. A technical and sales office to handle new customers such asGeneral Motors and Adam Opel AG will be located next to theaftermarket product center in Morfelden-Walldorf and will employengineers, technicians and account managers to work on customerprograms.
