Visteon Expands Role As Leading Global Cockpit Supplier With New Partnership In South Korea

Dearborn, Mich. (PROTEXT) - In response to growing demand forits world-class systems integration capabilities, VisteonAutomotive Systems is forming a new partnership with Duck YangIndustry Co., Ltd., the largest supplier of instrument panels inSouth Korea. The acquisition of a controlling interest in Duck Yang willallow Visteon to further build its global cockpit systemsbusiness and increase its presence in the Asia-Pacific region.Visteon is the largest cockpit supplier in the world. Duck Yangcurrently produces about 1.4 million instrument panels annuallyand is the sole instrument panel supplier to Hyundai Motor Corp. Duck Yang employs approximately 875 people in threemanufacturing facilities in South Korea. It was incorporated in1977 and is listed on the Korean stock exchange.
