Software at Detron Group in Three Months / Detron Group SignsMaster Contract for 200 to 300 Users, Worth Over Two MillionGuilders Nijkerk, Netherlands (ots-PRNewswire) - Vanenburg BusinessSystems today announced that its division Vanenburg ConstructionSolutions has completed the implementation of Baan IV ERPsoftware at Detron Group in three months. This success led DetronGroup to sign a master contract with Vanenburg Business Systemsfor the implementation of Baan IV for another 200 to 300 users.The contract is worth over two million guilders. Detron Group supplies products and services in the fields oftelecommunications, industrial automation and industrialelectronics. The concern decided to manage its business processesby implementing Baan IV, selecting three industry-specificmodels: Installation, Engineering Industry and Service Module.These models will enable the group to control the wholelogistical, project and service organization for the purchase,installation and delivery of goods and services. Detron Group decided that Detron System Services in Huizenwould be the first office to introduce Baan IV. This projectstarted in the autumn of 1998 and was implemented by VanenburgBusiness Systems in partnership with Jansen MI. All the basicfacilities for the ERP software were set up and available tousers within three months and there are now over fifty usersworking simultaneously with Baan IV at the offices of DetronSystem Services in the Netherlands. Additional implementationwork has already started at Detron Mobile Networks in DetronGroup's new building in Zaltbommel. Master contract The speed with which the software was implemented at DetronSystem Services was one reason why Detron Group signed a mastercontract with Vanenburg Business Systems and Jansen MI for theimplementation of Baan IV Industry Models at other companies inthe Detron Group. This contract runs till the end of the year2000 and is worth over two million guilders.
