Sonic Telecom, Ltd. Expands its Digital Communications Network in the USA and Mexico

(PROTEXT) - Sonic Telecom, Ltd., the originatorof telecommunications bandwidth-on-demand and billing by-the-byte, announced today the expansion of its digital AsynchronousTransfer Mode (ATM) network in North America. Through aninterconnection agreement with BroadWing, Inc. (NYSE: BRW),(formerly Cincinnati Bell and IXC Communications, Inc.) SonicTelecom has added eighty-one cities in the USA and Mexico to itsEuropean network. The agreement allows Sonic Telecom to terminate trafficoriginating in Europe in any of the cities throughout the US andMexico served by BroadWing, and terminate traffic in Europe, thatoriginates anywhere in the USA. BroadWing can now offer itscustomers bandwidth on demand and billing by the byte on onedigital network that is managed end-to-end. "This is a great day for broadband customers.
