Vienna (PROTEXT) - The 12th European Congress of Radiologywill take place March 5 - 10, 2000. Information about a possiblecancellation of this meeting in several News - Media isincorrect. The upcoming European Congress of Radiology will take place,as in previous years, at the Vienna Austria Centre. For ECR 2000about 13.000 participants from over 85 Nations are expected. Over200 exhibitors will show their new products at a technicalexhibition of approximately 7000m2. ECR will feature thedevelopment on interactive communication presented in theCompuRAD and EuroRAD area. ECR 2000 provides an excellenteducational and scientific program including: Honorary Lectures, 105 Scientific Sessions, 88 RefresherCourses and Workshops, 9 Video Workshops, 30 "Hands-on"Workshops, 10 State-of-the-Art Symposia, 2 Special FocusSessions, 2 Categorical Courses, 2 Image Interpretation Sessionsand a Scientific Exhibition - a Highlighted Posters Walking Tourincluded. Simultaneously it is possible to check the importance which the Czech News Agency ascribes to current events, if it will cover the event in its news service and whether it is preparing audio, photo, graphics and video coverage. The database also provides information on which current events and anniversaries CTK will move profiles. The database shows long-term planned negotiations of political and administrative bodies, a review of exhibitions and trade fairs, theatre and film premieres and a schedule of major sports competitions.
