Neu Isenburg 20. ledna (PROTEXT) - LTPE247 and LTPE347 from Seiko Instruments are the 2-inch (58 mm) and 3-inch (80 mm) versions of the new high-speed, high resolution thermal printer mechanism line. They support multiple 24V applications and feature the advantageous easy paper loading operation system. This new system offers highest functionality and easiest operability: By only pushing the release lever, the platen shaft is completely removable and can then easily be re-adjusted again in order to evenly press the paper to the thermal head. This kind of easy paper operation provides an user-friendly paper replacement as well as an easy cleaning of the thermal head. Both printer mechanisms are maintenance-free. All characteristics, such as the printing speed at 90 / 75 mm per second, the design of 89,9 / 107,9 mm width * 52,0 mm depth * 28,8 mm height as well as the weight of approx. 165 / 200gr, prove Seiko Instruments precise product conception for these new 24V-drive-mechanisms. The easy paper operation system maximises functionality and flexibility for a variety of 24V applications, above all in the POS/ECR and EFT-POS market. Both printers are applicable for various register and stand alone type printers, for instance data loggers and / or industrial applications. Finally, optional auto cutters are available for both types. They guarantee at least half a million cuttings at a frequency of max. 30 cutting per minute. As a replacement of paper is possible without lifting the cutter up, both the handling and the usability of LTPE247 and LTP347 become even more comfortable. ots Original Text Service: Seiko Instruments GmbH Internet: http://www.newsaktuell.de Contact: Seiko Instruments GmbH Siemensstraße 9b D-63263 Neu-Isenburg Telephone: +49-6102 / 297-0 Facsimile: +49-6120 / 297-116 e-mail: bettina.dittrich@seiko- instruments.de
