John Pittas has over twenty years of experience developingtechnologies and products for video and film. Prior to SeaChange,he served as senior engineer at IBM Watson Research Center andwas principle video I/O subsystems designer for the IBM PowerVisualization System supercomputer. Prior to IBM, he held staffengineering positions at Dubner Computer Systems and at the CBSTechnology Center. He currently holds four patents for video datamanipulation and transmission technology. Pittas is a member of the Society of Motion Picture andTelevision Engineers and the IEEE. He earned a BA in arts andletters from the University of Delaware, and an MA in arts andletters and a BS in electrical engineering from SUNY Buffalo.
