Prior to IBM, he held staffengineering positions at Dubner Computer Systems and at the CBSTechnology Center. He currently holds four patents for video datamanipulation and transmission technology. Pittas is a member of the Society of Motion Picture andTelevision Engineers and the IEEE. He earned a BA in arts andletters from the University of Delaware, and an MA in arts andletters and a BS in electrical engineering from SUNY Buffalo.
