Robbins & Myers Reaches New Labor Agreement

Dayton, Ohio (PROTEXT) - Robbins & Myers, Inc. (NYSE: RBN)announced today its Moyno Industrial Products business unitreached agreement with Local 902 of the United Auto Workersending a ten week work stoppage at the unit's facility inSpringfield, Ohio. Union members walked off the job February 1,1999 following expiration of the previous contract. Major issueswere economic in nature including health care coverage. Hugh E. Becker, spokesperson for the Company, said, "We arepleased that a successful conclusion has been reached ending thewalkout. The final agreement represents a fair and equitablesettlement for both parties." The Company maintained customer commitments during the tenweek period operating the facility with salaried personnel andutilizing manufacturing support from other R&M units.
