Rainer Krick Becomes Board Member responsible for Capital Markets

Frankfurt am Main (Germany) 11 September (PROTEXT/PRNewswire) - On September 11, 2009, the Board of Owners and the Supervisory Board of Helaba Landesbank Hessen-Thuringen appointed Rainer Krick (53) Member of the Board, with effect from September 15, 2009. In his new function, the General Manager and head of Asset/Liability Management will take on responsibility for Capital Markets and Treasury. In addition, Krick will be in charge of the business fields Sales Public Authorities and Institutional Business. After completing his basic training in banking, Krick started his professional career at DG Bank. Since 1981, he has been working for Helaba. Here, he played a leading part in setting up the Bank's Risk Management which is well reputed in the market, starting from the expansion of derivatives trading right through to the creation of a central Treasury division, with responsibility throughout the Bank for issues and their management. Krick is married and has two sons.
