Nocopi Announces Strategic Plan

West Conshohocken, Pa. (PROTEXT) - Nocopi Technologies, Inc.(OTC Bulletin Board: NNUP) today announced that the Board ofDirectors has begun the process of reviewing strategicalternatives to enhance stockholder value, including seeking aninvestment in the Company by a strategic partner, pursuingstrategic alliances or the sale of all or part of the Company. Inthat connection, the Company announced that the annual meeting ofshareholders would be deferred until late in the third quarter orearly in the fourth quarter while the Board considers strategicalternatives. The Company also announced today that Mike McGovern has beenpromoted to the position of the Chief Operating Officer,effective immediately. Mr. McGovern has previously served as VicePresident-Sales for the Company. Jack Halperin, Chairman of theBoard, will remain in that position and focus on strategicalternatives for the Company. In his new role as COO, Mr.McGovern will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of thebusiness and will oversee sales, marketing, and human resources.
