New Holland Names Rod Keech as Vice President for

Business Development AMSTERDAM, Netherlands (PROTEXT) - New Holland N.V. (NYSE: NH)today announced the appointment of Rod Keech to new position ofVice President, Business Development, replacing Franco Fusignani,who returns to a senior position within the Fiat Group. Keechwill maintain responsibility for all new initiative activities,both product and market, and will directly oversee the Company'soperations in India and all its joint ventures. A graduate of Cambridge University, Keech joined predecessorcompany Ford Tractor Operations in 1972 as a financial analyst.Over the course of his career, he has held a wide range ofmanagement positions in the Company's developing markets andjoint ventures as well as in Europe and the United States. In1991, Keech was appointed General Manager for Japan, Australiaand the Asia/Pacific Region. In 1996, he became Managing Directorfor the United Kingdom, Ireland and Scandinavia. Most recently,Keech was appointed to lead the development of the Company's newinitiatives.
