NCD Broadens Diamond Partner Programme to Cope with

Market Growth and Recruit Further VAR'S / See NCD at Networks '99in Birmingham, 29th June - 1st July on Stand 19K 100 Windsor, Berkshire, England (PROTEXT) - Network ComputingDevices, (NCD) the leading manufacturer of integrated thin clienthardware and software has announced the addition of two new tiersof membership for its Diamond Partner VAR accreditationprogramme. Designed to cater for the expanding thin client marketand the different levels of support VAR's need, a new entry andtop tier level to the programme has been introduced. Theseenhancements will also be targeted to attract further channelpartners. NCD's channel partner program is designed to incorporate thebest features of any vendor accreditation program availableanywhere and provide VAR's and resellers with real, commercialand practical benefits. NCD's Diamond Partner Program now has three authorisationlevels, comprising of firstly the new entry level, NCD AuthorisedPartner tier, designed for VAR's needing support on small dealsbut who are not ready to become a Diamond Partner. The existingDiamond Partner tier remains, offering VAR's such services as theDiamond Action Desk which is a single focal point of contact forall questions and the NCD UK web site, which includes thepassword protected 'Diamond Mine' web site, through whichcompany, product information and marketing materials can beaccessed. The second new tier, the NCD Premier Diamond Partner level, isthe highest accreditation level in the programme and is byinvitation only. At this level partners receive all the benefitsof being a Diamond Partner and they are allowed to participate inbeta testing of new products and have regular access to highlevel US staff. These new levels complement the existing NCDDiamond Partner status.
