Microsoft Corp and WISeKey win €17.4 million e-Government Citizen Services Platform (CSP) project

Geneva/Houston (Switzerland/USA) 11 July (PROTEXT/ots) - Microsoft Corp.and WISeKey today announced that they were selected by the RegionalGovernment of Biscay for the delivery of a comprehensive e-GovernmentCitizen Services Platform. This €17.4 million project includes aleading-edge identity federation that enables the establishment ofcustomized citizen portals adapted to the needs and the interests of eachcitizen in a real Web 2.0 environment.
According to Mr. José Luis Bilbao, Deputy General of Bizkaia, Spain"BiscayTIK shall allow our citizens to benefit from leading edge servicesthat propel our region into the 21st century at the forefront of social andeconomic development, with support of first class partners such asMicrosoft and WISeKey, fully committed to joining us in developing ourworld class technology center".

Part of the solution to be delivered by WISeKey is a new generationsemantic validation system which leverages the Web 2.0 functionalities andWeb 3.0 interactions.
