Meta4 Launches Internet Enterprise / Third Quarter Revenue Increased By 54%

Madrid, Spain (PROTEXT) - Meta4, the Web-based People andKnowledge Management software company, today announces itsresults for the three months ended September 30, 1999. * Internet company launched, headed by Meta4 Founder, JuanMoran and sponsored by Meta4 through a significant minorityparticipation; the new company will pursue certain Internetknowledge market opportunities * Juan Moran passes baton to Joaquin Moya-Angeler. Moya-Angeler becomes Chairman and CEO of Meta4 and Moran will becomeChairman and CEO of the new Internet company * Revenues rose by 54% in the three months ended September30, 1999 to Euros 8.4 million (1998: Euro 5.4 million); revenuesin the first nine months increased by 64% to Euro 27.8 million(1998: Euro 16.9 million) * Significant new contracts signed during the reportingperiod: Grupo CGD (Portugal); Electricite de Strasbourg andUsinor (France); and Hospital Italiano (Argentina) * First contracts signed in new markets -- Germany, Italy andBrazil * Major Euro 2.1 million contract signed in fourth quarterwith a large European client * All short-term borrowings eliminated; Euro 39 million incash and equivalents at September 30, 1999.
