One of the World's 100 Best-Managed Companies SOUTHFIELD, Mich. (PROTEXT) - Lear Corporation (NYSE: LEA) ison the fourth annual list of IndustryWeek's 100 Best-ManagedCompanies. Chosen by editors at IndustryWeek (IW) Magazine, thelist includes the world's 100 best managed companies. The reportappears in the today's issue of IndustryWeek. Candidates for IndustryWeek's 100 Best-Managed Companies wereculled from the IndustryWeek 1000, a list of the world's largestpublicly held manufacturing companies based on revenues. Each company was selected after a lengthy evaluation thatincluded the following four steps: analysis of the company'sfinancial performance; review of a questionnaire that each IW1000 company was given an opportunity to complete; research intoeach company's practices in areas such as philanthropy andsafety; and voting by a panel of more than 100 business leaders,analysts, and academicians.
