Lear Corporation Completes Acquisition of 100% of Lear- Donnelly Joint Venture Company

Southfield, Mich. (PROTEXT) - Lear Corporation (NYSE: LEA)today announced it has completed the acquisition of DonnellyCorporation's 50-percent stake in Lear-Donnelly Overhead Systems,L.L.C. (LDOS), the joint venture in which the two automotivesuppliers had been equal partners. Terms of the transaction were not released. Lear Corporationnow owns 100 percent of Lear-Donnelly Overhead Systems. LDOS designs and manufactures overhead systems for theautomotive industry. The 50-50 joint venture was formed in 1997by Donnelly and Lear, with each company contributing certainassets. The LDOS product line includes headliners, sun visors,lighting and overhead consoles.
