Johnson Controls announces change to executive leadership * European executive assumes global responsibility for the Automobile Group

Burscheid (Germany) August 22nd (PROTEXT/ots) - Johnson Controls, one ofthe world’s leading suppliers of automotive interior systems, electronicsand batteries, has appointed Dr. Beda Bolzenius as Vice President andPresident Interior Experience, formerly called Automotive Group. In his newfunction, which is effective immediately, he is responsible for JohnsonControls’ global automotive business.

Beda Bolzenius was previously in charge of the company’s European, SouthAmerican and South African automotive business. Two years ago he joinedJohnson Controls from Robert Bosch GmbH. During his 18-year career atBosch, he served in a variety of senior management positions. In his newposition, Beda Bolzenius will report directly to Keith Wandell, Presidentand Chief Operating Officer at Johnson Controls.

His successor, Johannes Roters, 49, is promoted to Vice President andGeneral Manager Europe, South Africa and South America for InteriorExperience, effective immediately, and will assume Beda Bolzenius’ priorresponsibilities. Since 1989 Johannes Roters has held a number of leadingmanagement positions at Johnson Controls. He most recently served as thecompany’s Vice President and General Manager for Operations, ProgramManagement and Best Practices in Europe. In his new function he will reportto Beda Bolzenius.
