InterNAP and Equant Agreement to Speed Internet Traffic / Agreement Accelerates InterNAP's International Deployment

SEATTLE and ATLANTA (PROTEXT) - Equant (NYSE: ENT; ParisBourse: EQU) and InterNAP (Nasdaq: INAP) today announced anagreement that will enable Equant to enhance its global Internetservice with the most direct routing for customers' Internettraffic. Under the agreement, Equant also will support InterNAP withthe international deployment of its P-NAP high-performanceInternet facilities, with an initial emphasis in Europe and Asia.These facilities route customer data to and from destinations onthe Internet in a manner that minimizes data loss by avoiding theInternet's conventional traffic exchange process known as"peering."
