Ingram Micro President and COO Accepts Top Post at Hyperion Solutions Corp.

SANTA ANA, Calif. (PROTEXT) - Ingram Micro Inc. (NYSE: IM),the world's largest wholesale provider of technology products andservices, today announced that Jeffrey R. Rodek, the presidentand worldwide chief operating officer, has resigned from thecompany to accept the position of the chairman and chiefexecutive officer of Hyperion Solutions Corp., the worldwideanalytic application software leader with sales of $424.9 millionin fiscal 1999. He has been a Hyperion Solutions board membersince January 1998. "Jeff's valuable contributions have helped enable Ingram Microto grow into the world-class organization it is today," saidJerre L.
