Gerresheimer Group expands its management team: Dr. Max Raster appointed Member of the Management Board

Germany (Düsseldorf) January 2 (PROTEXT/ots) - With effect from 1 January 2007 Dr. Max Raster (42) is appointed as a Member of the Management Board of the Gerresheimer Group GmbH.
Dr. Raster assumes responsibility in the Gerresheimer Group for the Tubular Glass Division. This Division comprises the production and conversion of high-quality borosilicate tubular glass for pharmaceutical packaging and systems such as vials and prefillable syringe systems. The Division has production plants in Europe, America and Asia.
Dr. Raster most recently worked for the Schott company as Executive Vice President of the Business Unit of Pharmaceutical Systems. With his experience he will strengthen the Gerresheimer management team on the way to further business expansion.
The following continue as members of the management: Mr. Uwe Röhrhoff with responsibility for the Moulded Glass und Life Science Research Divisions, Mr. Hans-Jürgen Wiecha as Chief Financial Officer and Dr. Axel Herberg as Chief Executive Officer. Dr. Herberg is also responsible for the Plastic Systems Division.
