Economic conference “get connected 07”: TÜV NORD Group transmits live via the Internet

Hannover (Germany ) November 9 (PROTEXT/PRNewswire/ots) - The TÜV NORDGroup is transmitting the economic conference “get connected 07"(http://www.getconnected-germany.de) in Hannover (November 9-11) live viathe Internet at http://www.tuev-ord.de/getconnected07.asp. In this way, thecompetent and globally active technical service corporation renders theconference accessible to interested parties from companies, organizationsand political institutions. On Friday November 9th from 10.30 am (all times CET), the event will betransmitted live with simultaneous English translation. Among others, theprogram will feature presentations by the Minister of Economics, Labor andTransport of Lower Saxony, Mr. Walter Hirche, on the topic “Ten GoodReasons for Lower Saxony" and by Mr. Martin Fischedick, Regional ManagementBoard of Commerzbank AG, on the topic “Medium-Sized Businesses - GrowthThrough Globalization."

The panel discussion “Innovative Lower Saxony - A Federal State on theMove” will also be transmitted live from 1.30 pm.

The visit by dozens of participants in the TÜV NORD Group on Saturday,November 10th, from 2.30 to 5.00 pm will also be transmitted via theInternet. The focus here will be on energy efficiency and climateprotection. Furthermore, from 2.50 pm onwards, the Chairman of the TÜV NORDGroup Board, Dr. Guido Rettig, will present the Group’s capabilities. Thehighlight of the event will be a presentation by the Mobility department ontype testing at the Institute for Vehicle Technology and Mobility, as wellas an electronically rendered test at a TÜV-STATION starting at 4 pm.
