(OTC Bulletin Board: CIEI),announced today that CIE's recently acquired subsidiary,Zideo.com will introduce a comprehensive presentation of its datacompression technology at Midem 2000. Midem is the largest independent gathering of music andentertainment industry executives in the world and will be heldin Cannes, Frances from January 23rd through January 27th. Don Ashley, President of CIE, says, "Midem will be our majorunveiling. We have developed an extensive technology product lineunder our new 'PiranhaByte' brand and will utilize thistechnology to empower our recently acquired Internet marketinggroup, Zideo.com." Zideo will unveil its video compression, high ratio lossy,near lossless steerable compression, and high ratio losslesscompression for audio and images at Midem 2000. The technology issuitable for streaming and downloading audio and video on-demandat ratios and resolution qualities previously not available. Mr. Ashley explains, "Imagine reducing a 1.8 gigabyte videofile to just 2.3 megabytes or reducing a 44 megabyte audio fileto just 4.4 megabytes without any loss.
