Callaway Golf Staff Professionals Bruce Fleisher and Colin Montgomerie Wrap Up Tour Money Titles

Carlsbad, Calif. (PROTEXT) - Callaway Golf (NYSE: ELY) StaffProfessionals Bruce Fleisher and Colin Montgomerie capped whathas been a dream season for both golfers by winning theirrespective 1999 tour money titles over the weekend. Fleisher'ssecond-place finish at the season-ending Ingersoll-Rand SeniorTour Championship clinched the Senior PGA Tour money title, whileMontgomerie's solid play at the American Express Stroke PlayChampionship earned him a record seventh consecutive PGA EuropeanTour Order of Merit title. Fleisher finished his rookie season on the Senior PGA Tourwith $2,515,705 in earnings and a record tying seven victories.He also led the tour in scoring average (69.24), putting and top-10 finishes (18). Fleisher is the odds-on favorite to win rookieof the year and player of the year honors. "This year has been an incredible ride," said Fleisher, 51."I'm so thankful for having this opportunity. I will always beable to say that 1999 was my year. Nobody can take it away." At the Senior Tour Championship, Fleisher continued hisphenomenal play with Callaway Golf's new Hawk Eye(R) TungstenInjected(TM) Titanium Irons. Since putting the Hawk Eye Irons andWedges in his bag at the Kroger Senior Classic, played Sept. 24-26, Fleisher has won twice and posted a 67.91 stroke average.
