Bruce Fleisher Continues to Soar With Hawk Eye(R) Irons / Senior Rookie Wins His Seventh Senior Event of 1999

CARLSBAD, Calif. (PROTEXT) - Callaway Golf (NYSE: ELY) StaffProfessional Bruce Fleisher has written his name into anothersection of the record books with his seventh Senior PGA Tour winof the 1999 season. With his victory at the EMC2 KaanapaliClassic, Fleisher tied the record for wins by a rookie held byLee Trevino and Bruce Crampton. Fleisher already had set newsenior standards by winning the first two events in which hecompeted and by becoming the first senior to win more than $2million in his rookie season. In each of his seven victories this year, Fleisher has used 13Callaway Golf clubs. In his win this past weekend, Fleishercontinued his phenomenal play with Callaway Golf's new HawkEye(R) Tungsten Injected(R) Titanium Irons, which he first put inthe bag at the Kroger Senior Classic, played Sept. 24- 26. Healso carried a Callaway Golf titanium driver and Big Bertha(R)Steelhead(TM) 4-wood and 5-wood, and he used an Odyssey(R) DualForce(R) 664 Putter. Fleisher increased his lead on the moneylist with the $150,000 first prize, and he also leads the tour inscoring average (69.24) and top-10 finishes (17). Since switching to the new Hawk Eye Irons, Fleisher hasimproved upon his already sizzling scoring. In the 15 tournamentrounds he has played since putting the Hawk Eye Irons in his bag,Fleisher's stroke average is an amazing 67.6 and he has hit 76.7percent of greens in regulation, recording 12 rounds in the 60sduring this stretch.
