Andersen Worldwide Revenues for Fiscal '99 Up 17% to $16.3 Billion / Arthur Andersen Gains 19% to $7.3 Billion, Andersen Consulting Grows 16% to $9.0 Billion

New York (PROTEXT) - Arthur Andersen posted revenues of $7.3billion, up 19%, and revenues at Andersen Consulting were up 16%to $9.0 billion, for the fiscal year ended August 31, 1999. TheAndersen Worldwide business units' record results of $16.3billion represented a 17% increase over the prior year and weremore than double total revenues four years earlier. W. Robert Grafton, Acting Chief Executive of AndersenWorldwide, attributed the results to "a healthy globalmarketplace and robust demand for the world-class servicesprovided by Andersen Consulting and Arthur Andersen." Noting thatthe organization is nearing completion of its fiscal 2000 firstquarter, he added, "Both businesses are on target for substantialacross-the- board growth in the year ahead."
