(Nasdaq: TDFX)today announced that it continues to drive high-volumemotherboard wins for its Voodoo3(TM) 2000 graphics accelerator.3dfx announced that its Voodoo3 2000 will be integrated onto newmotherboard products from ASUSTeK, A-Trend , Gigabyte and MSI. Available to OEMs this summer, the new motherboards willfeature the 143MHz Voodoo3 2000 chipset with 16MB of memory and a300MHz RAMDAC. Voodoo3 2000 will be highlighted in the P3B-Vmodel from ASUSTeK; the ATC6253M, ATC6254M, and ATC6264Mmotherboard products from A-Trend; the 6BXM product fromGigabyte; and the MS6168 from MSI. Vodooo3 2000 generates up to 6 million triangles and 286Megatexels per second at resolutions of up to 2,048 by 1,536pixels. Voodoo3 2000 also includes such advanced features as:single-pass single-cycle multi-texturing for bump mapping andtrilinear mip-mapping, dual 32-bit internal rendering, per-pixelmip-mapping, sub-pixel and sub-texel correction, 8-bit palletizedtextures, programmable exponential fog tables, Gouraud shading, afull 128-bit 2D accelerator, DVD hardware assist, and support forDirectX, Glide(R) and OpenGL.
