Callaway Staff Pros Montgomerie, Fleisher Win Again

CARLSBAD, Calif. (PROTEXT) - Callaway Golf Company (NYSE: ELY) Staff Professionals Colin Montgomerie and Bruce Fleisher added to their multiple victory seasons with wins on two continents this past weekend. Montgomerie won his fourth tournament of the year on the PGA European Tour, cruising to a nine-stroke victory in the Scandinavian Open at Barsebaeck, Sweden. Fleisher collected his fifth win of the season on the Senior PGA Tour, taking the Lightpath Long Island Classic at Jerico, N.Y. For Montgomerie -- who used 11 Callaway clubs to shoot 20- under-par 268 and produce the widest margin of victory of the year on the European Tour -- the victory was never in doubt. He began the final round with a six-stroke lead and widened it to nine with a near-flawless round of 69 shot in rainy, windy conditions.
