New Holland Completes Transition to Global

Organizational Structure
AMSTERDAM, The Netherlands (PROTEXT) - New Holland N.V. (NYSE:
NH) today announced the final steps in the Company's three-year
transition to a fully-integrated global structure. The new
organization redefines and enhances the key roles of Chief
Technical Officer Alberto Pianta and Chief Marketing Officer Tom
Kennedy in their coordination of the Company's global activities.
In connection with the new structure a number of new appointments
of Company Officers were announced.
Luciano Paiola (47) has been appointed to the position of Vice
President, Tractor Global Product Line. After earning his degree
in Mechanical Engineering from Politecnico di Torino, Paiola
joined predecessor company Fiatallis as a sales and marketing
trainee. During his career, Paiola has held a wide range of
management positions in product management, logistics and
manufacturing, including Plant Manager at the Company's Lecce,
Italy plant, and Commercial Logistics Manager for Fiat-Hitachi.
Prior to his appointment as Vice President, Combine Global
Product Line, he was Project Manager for Medium Range
Agricultural Tractor Development.
Robert Crain (39) has been appointed Vice President, Combine
Global Product Line. Crain joined predecessor company Ford
Tractor Operations upon graduation from the University of
Alabama. He held a variety of positions in field sales, service,
marketing, and logistics before becoming Senior Product Engineer
for Combines in 1995. The following year, he was appointed
Product Manager for North American Combines, and in 1997 he
became Product Manager for the Company's Combine Global Product
Line.
Mattia Guida (50) has been appointed Vice President, Eastern
Europe, Asia, Africa/Middle East. A graduate of the University of
Naples, Mattia Guida's career has encompassed a wide range of
management positions in both field sales and central marketing.
His responsibilities have included markets in North and South
America, Northern and Central Europe, Africa, the Middle East,
Australia, and Asia. After serving as Managing Director of New
Holland Australia, Guida was responsible for the Company's sales
and marketing operations across the Asia/Pacific region.
Gustavo Bracco (50) has been appointed Senior Vice President
Human Resources. In turn, Louis Csoka (56) will assume a special
assignment in support of the Company's global initiatives for
leadership development and team building. Bracco earned his
degree in law from the University of Turin and has extensive
experience in labor relations and human resource management in
the financial services, manufacturing, and consumer products
sectors. He has held a variety of management positions in the
Fiat Group's operating divisions and central staff, and in 1998
he joined New Holland's Human Resources Central Staff.
