Vienna (PROTEXT) - The 12th European Congress of Radiology will take place March 5 - 10, 2000. Information about a possible cancellation of this meeting in several News - Media is incorrect. The upcoming European Congress of Radiology will take place, as in previous years, at the Vienna Austria Centre. For ECR 2000 about 13.000 participants from over 85 Nations are expected. Over 200 exhibitors will show their new products at a technical exhibition of approximately 7000m2. ECR will feature the development on interactive communication presented in the CompuRAD and EuroRAD area. ECR 2000 provides an excellent educational and scientific program including: Honorary Lectures, 105 Scientific Sessions, 88 Refresher Courses and Workshops, 9 Video Workshops, 30 "Hands-on" Workshops, 10 State-of-the-Art Symposia, 2 Special Focus Sessions, 2 Categorical Courses, 2 Image Interpretation Sessions and a Scientific Exhibition - a Highlighted Posters Walking Tour included.
