Antibiotic Compounds in Phase II/III Trials to Be Featured at Antibacterial Drug Discovery & Development Conference on March 13-14, 2000, in Princeton, NJ

PRINCETON, N.J. (PROTEXT) - Late-stage antibacterial compounds in clinic will be featured at the "5th International Antibacterial Drug Discovery & Development Summit" on March 13- 14, 2000 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Princeton, NJ, announces Strategic Research Institute, the sponsor. The international conference will feature promising clinical agents including oxazolidinones, glycylcyclines, beta-lactamases, carbapenems, quinolones, ketolides, everinomycins, and lipopeptides. Also featured in the broader agenda will be novel antibacterial discovery approaches such as efflux pumps, genomic targets, pharmacokinetic pharmacodynamic modeling, glycopeptides and beta-lactamase inhibitors.
