today announced a distribution agreement with Yahoo! in Europe to
make Quokka's digital sports programming available in multiple
languages across local Yahoo! sports pages. Quokka's digital
content and coverage of America's Cup 2000, one of the world's
most popular sailing events, and the FIM Motorcycling World
Championship, will be specially packaged for Yahoo! users.
As part of this agreement, local Yahoo! sports pages carrying
the Quokka content will be co-branded with Quokka's logo and the
content will be adapted for each local market. Users who are
interested in obtaining more in-depth Quokka-style coverage will
be able to link to localized pages of Quokka.com.
Quokka's tailored coverage of America's Cup 2000 will be
available via Yahoo! in the United Kingdom and Ireland, Germany,
Italy, Spain, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and New Zealand and
Australia. Quokka's immersive coverage of the FIM Motorcycling
World Championship will be available via Yahoo! in the United
Kingdom and Ireland, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Sweden, and
Norway and Denmark.
