Robbins & Myers Reaches New Labor Agreement

Dayton, Ohio (PROTEXT) - Robbins & Myers, Inc. (NYSE: RBN)
announced today its Moyno Industrial Products business unit
reached agreement with Local 902 of the United Auto Workers
ending a ten week work stoppage at the unit's facility in
Springfield, Ohio. Union members walked off the job February 1,
1999 following expiration of the previous contract. Major issues
were economic in nature including health care coverage.
Hugh E. Becker, spokesperson for the Company, said, "We are
pleased that a successful conclusion has been reached ending the
walkout. The final agreement represents a fair and equitable
settlement for both parties."
The Company maintained customer commitments during the ten
week period operating the facility with salaried personnel and
utilizing manufacturing support from other R&M units.
