Andersen Worldwide Revenues for Fiscal '99 Up 17% to $16.3 Billion / Arthur Andersen Gains 19% to $7.3 Billion, Andersen Consulting Grows 16% to $9.0 Billion

New York (PROTEXT) - Arthur Andersen posted revenues of $7.3
billion, up 19%, and revenues at Andersen Consulting were up 16%
to $9.0 billion, for the fiscal year ended August 31, 1999. The
Andersen Worldwide business units' record results of $16.3
billion represented a 17% increase over the prior year and were
more than double total revenues four years earlier.
W. Robert Grafton, Acting Chief Executive of Andersen
Worldwide, attributed the results to "a healthy global
marketplace and robust demand for the world-class services
provided by Andersen Consulting and Arthur Andersen." Noting that
the organization is nearing completion of its fiscal 2000 first
quarter, he added, "Both businesses are on target for substantial
across-the- board growth in the year ahead."
