Madrid, Spain (PROTEXT) - Meta4, the Web-based People and
Knowledge Management software company, today announces its
results for the three months ended September 30, 1999.
* Internet company launched, headed by Meta4 Founder, Juan
Moran and sponsored by Meta4 through a significant minority
participation; the new company will pursue certain Internet
knowledge market opportunities
* Juan Moran passes baton to Joaquin Moya-Angeler. Moya-
Angeler becomes Chairman and CEO of Meta4 and Moran will become
Chairman and CEO of the new Internet company
* Revenues rose by 54% in the three months ended September
30, 1999 to Euros 8.4 million (1998: Euro 5.4 million); revenues
in the first nine months increased by 64% to Euro 27.8 million
(1998: Euro 16.9 million)
* Significant new contracts signed during the reporting
period: Grupo CGD (Portugal); Electricite de Strasbourg and
Usinor (France); and Hospital Italiano (Argentina)
* First contracts signed in new markets -- Germany, Italy and
Brazil
* Major Euro 2.1 million contract signed in fourth quarter
with a large European client
* All short-term borrowings eliminated; Euro 39 million in
cash and equivalents at September 30, 1999.
Commenting on the new Internet company and management changes,
Juan Moran said:
