Toronto (PROTEXT) - KPMG International chief executive officer
Paul Reilly said, "KPMG is obviously pleased with the decision of
KPMG Canada to call off its plans to merge with Arthur Andersen."
Reilly said KPMG International "looks forward to working with
KPMG Canada's leadership regarding how best to further integrate
the Canadian firm into KPMG, as part of KPMG's continued
globalization initiative."
He added KPMG Canada will play an important role in the
implementation of KPMG's strategy for the Americas region. ots
