Visteon Expands Role As Leading Global Cockpit Supplier With New Partnership In South Korea

Dearborn, Mich. (PROTEXT) - In response to growing demand for
its world-class systems integration capabilities, Visteon
Automotive Systems is forming a new partnership with Duck Yang
Industry Co., Ltd., the largest supplier of instrument panels in
South Korea.
The acquisition of a controlling interest in Duck Yang will
allow Visteon to further build its global cockpit systems
business and increase its presence in the Asia-Pacific region.
Visteon is the largest cockpit supplier in the world. Duck Yang
currently produces about 1.4 million instrument panels annually
and is the sole instrument panel supplier to Hyundai Motor Corp.

Duck Yang employs approximately 875 people in three
manufacturing facilities in South Korea. It was incorporated in
1977 and is listed on the Korean stock exchange.
