Document Services offering at Xplor International's 20th Global
Electronic Document Systems Conference & Exhibit at the Los
Angeles Convention Center from October 31 to November 5. Anacomp
will sponsor 21 technical and application presentations at this
year's conference, including eight customer-application digital
document-management case studies.
Throughout the week, Anacomp associates will deliver a variety
of presentations on the application, technology and techniques of
Internet-based outsource services for document management,
including system architecture, user considerations, security, web
technologies, implementation and operations, market trends,
business-process reengineering, document management for financial
services and e-commerce, electronic billing, and physical
delivery media, particularly CD-R.
In addition, complementing these technical presentations,

document services. The session will include a live demonstration

Fritz Simon, Solothurner Bank (SoBa), Switzerland
Mr. Simon describes how, through a cooperative effort with
Anacomp, SoBa is implementing a document-management solution that
will consolidate 20 separate branch archive systems, meet the
highest level of security standards, deliver a response time of
15 seconds or less for SoBa's 400 concurrent users, and be
implemented without any interruption in customer service.
Integrated document-presentment solutions in banking

Reinhard Meisberger, Deutsche Bank, Germany, and
Pierre Royaute, BICS-Banque Populaire, France
In partnership with Anacomp, Deutsche Bank is implementing a
new automated check and invoice reconciliation system for its
large commercial customers. Mr. Meisberger will discuss how this
system will provide Deutsche Bank and its customers with
substantial benefits. Deutsche Bank is confident that this system
will gain competitive advantages in supporting existing
commercial customers, build the foundation for a range of new
customer services, and gain additional customers.
Mr. Royaute describes how, in partnering with Anacomp, BICSs
replaced its existing film-based document-management system, with
more than 60 applications supporting more than 70 million stored
pages and images per year, with a digital integrated capture,
storage, and delivery solution. He also will describe how
additional documents, currently being captured in a Xerox
scanning environment, will be integrated into BICS' digital
document archive.

Scott Kenny, senior Web developer at Banc of America
Securities, LLC and John Upham of Anacomp will jointly discuss
how Banc of America Securities implemented an archiving and
viewing solution from Anacomp which has resulted in savings of
more than $50,000 a month while increasing customer satisfaction
by providing customer access via both the intranet (for internal
use) and the Internet (for customer self-service via the web).
The presentation will identify the business problems the Banc of
America was looking to resolve; the selection, design and
implementation of the solution; and the resulting savings that
occurred and the planned expansion of the solution.

integrate, store, and deliver a company's documents at
