Anne M. Tatlock Named CEO of Fiduciary Trust Company

NEW YORK (PROTEXT) - As anticipated, Fiduciary Trust Company
International, a global asset management firm with $46 billion
under management, named Anne M. Tatlock chief executive officer
today.
Ms. Tatlock, 60, assumes the position from the firm's current
chairman and CEO, Lawrence S. Huntington, who has held the CEO
position since 1973. He was made chairman in 1983. Mr. Huntington
will remain as chairman until his expected retirement next year.
Ms. Tatlock will retain the role of president, a title she has
held since 1994, and will continue to oversee all investment
activities at Fiduciary. Prior to being named president, she was
executive vice president in charge of institutional global equity
investments.
"We are delighted to see Anne take on the role of CEO, a
position that is well-deserved after her many years of investing
world-wide and her successful record as president," said Mr.
Huntington. He noted that during Tatlock's tenure, Fiduciary's
assets have grown from $28 billion to $46 billion.
"Our business will continue to expand around the globe as we
enter the next century, and Anne has the vision, experience and
maturity to manage Fiduciary's progress," stated Mr. Huntington.
Fiduciary Trust Company is one of the oldest pure investment
management firms still operating independently. Since its
establishment in 1931, the company has grown to employ nearly 700
people in nine offices around the world. It has one of the
longest global track records for any U.S.-based manager - -
having invested in the international markets since the early
1960s.
Fiduciary's clients include major corporations, public funds,
foundations, endowments and wealthy families in the United
States, Europe and Asia.
Ms. Tatlock has been managing money for 37 years, and still
handles a few private accounts she has had since she first
started working in the investment business at Smith Barney in the
1960s. She is a graduate of Vassar College, with a master's
degree in economics from New York University. Ms. Tatlock is a
trustee and chairman of the investment committee of the Vassar
College Endowment Fund; chairman of the board of the Cultural
Institutions Retirement System; president of the board of
trustees of the American Ballet Theatre Foundation; a trustee of
the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation; a trustee and chairman of the
finance committee of the Teagle Foundation; a director of Fortune
Brands, Inc.; and a director and chairman of the finance
