Ducati Motor Holding Director Increases Ducati Stake to

Bologna, Italy (PROTEXT) - Ducati Motor Holding S.p.A. (NYSE:
DMH; Borsa Italiana S.p.A.: DMH), a leading manufacturer of high
performance motorcycles, today announced Giorgio Seragnoli, a
member of Ducati's Board of Directors, has increased his equity
stake in the Company to 2.0%.
Mr. Seragnoli, 44, has been a member of the Board of Directors
since October 1998 and is a distinguished member of the Bologna
business community.
Federico Minoli, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer,
commented, "We are very pleased by Giorgio Seragnoli's commitment
to Ducati and feel that his investment underscores his faith in
our initiatives and corporate strategy. His business experience
and guidance will continue to be an asset as we execute our plans
for growth."
Since 1982, Mr. Seragnoli has been Vice President and Managing
Director of G.D. SpA, a manufacturer of rolling and packaging
machines used in the tobacco industry. He currently also serves
on the Boards of 21 Investimenti SpA, Mediaset SpA, CAER SpA and
Fideuram Bank SpA.
