Network Computing Devices, (NCD) the leading manufacturer of integrated thin client hardware and software has announced the addition of two new tiers of membership for its Diamond Partner VAR accreditation programme. Designed to cater for the expanding thin client market and the different levels of support VAR's need, a new entry and top tier level to the programme has been introduced. These enhancements will also be targeted to attract further channel partners. NCD's channel partner program is designed to incorporate the best features of any vendor accreditation program available anywhere and provide VAR's and resellers with real, commercial and practical benefits. NCD's Diamond Partner Program now has three authorisation levels, comprising of firstly the new entry level, NCD Authorised Partner tier, designed for VAR's needing support on small deals but who are not ready to become a Diamond Partner. The existing Diamond Partner tier remains, offering VAR's such services as the Diamond Action Desk which is a single focal point of contact for all questions and the NCD UK web site, which includes the password protected 'Diamond Mine' web site, through which company, product information and marketing materials can be accessed. The second new tier, the NCD Premier Diamond Partner level, is the highest accreditation level in the programme and is by invitation only. At this level partners receive all the benefits of being a Diamond Partner and they are allowed to participate in beta testing of new products and have regular access to high level US staff. These new levels complement the existing NCD Diamond Partner status. Andrew Watts, marketing manager at NCD Diamond Partner Lysander said of the new programme: "NCD has the best products on the market and The Diamond Partner programme has provided Lysander with the support needed to make a significant impact in the thin client environment," said Watts. "NCD understand that our customers are not just looking for products, but for practical business solutions that really improve the effectiveness of their businesses," he continued. "The thin client market is expanding so rapidly at the moment that we want our accreditation programme to stay at the forefront of the industry alongside our products," said David Perry, Director of Sales for NCD. "We have established channel partners who are highly successful who we want to involve even more with NCD, while we increasingly want to help VAR's working on their first deals or those who are looking to move into this market in a bigger way," he continued. Several of NCD's Diamond and Premier partners will be accompanying NCD on their Stand,19K100, at Networks '99. Premier Diamond Partner ESOFT will be in attendence, as will Diamond Partners Atlantic Software, Barron McCann, Corporate IT, Kingsburgh Computing, Lysander Systems and Powermark Systems. ots Original Text Service: Network Computing Devices Internet: http://www.newsaktuell.de Contact: David Tutin, firstname.lastname@example.org, or Chris Steel, email@example.com, both of Berkeley PR, +0118-988- 2992; or Gillian Horrocks-Taylor of NCD, +01753-736600 or
